Dear Somerset Artists,

This is an invitation to participate in the NEW 'Bird' Exhibition being held here at Blue Cedar Art Cafe Gallery in Glastonbury.
The Exhibition will run from Saturday 4th February until Thursday 1st March 2012.
A number of local artists will be invited to submit just 2 pieces of artwork for the exhibition, be it painting, print, photography or textile or sculpture.
At least one of the pieces must be available for sale.
Here at Blue Cedar we do not charge an entry fee to exhibit, we simply take 30% commission of any item sold so please bare that in mind when giving the prices of your work.

We will require:

* the titles and prices of your work
* an image of one of the proposed entrys via email
* a brief artist statement of no more than 200 words

  by Monday 23rd january 2012

* artwork delivered no later than thursday 2nd february in time for the exhibition that starts on Saturday 4th February 2012.

There will be a private preview for artists/friends & family on Friday 3rd February 7-9pm, where the press will be invited, music and refreshments will be available.
