Modesty (bronze resin)

Alexandra graduated from Weston College with an HND in Fine Art in 2006, since then she has exibited her sculptures and paintings in various venues in the south west.  She also supplies work to shops and gallerys.  She works from her studio in Somerset, where she has a kiln for ceramic work but bronze resin casting is outsourced to a local foundry.

Alexandra first exhibited during North Somerset Arts Week at Claverham Meeting House in 2007.  Her bronze resin figures with large feet proved very popular and she was approached by two gallerys.  She has since gone on to develop her ceramic work, focusing at present on horses.  She exhibited at the same venue during 2009 North Somerset Arts Week.

Now that her children are at school she plans to use the time to explore other sculpting materials, use her drawing skills more and cultivate an artistic idenity and style that will statisfy her inner creative voice.

Alexandra plans to exhibit at all Somerset Arts Week events and at North Somerset Arts Weeks events if she is invited to do so in the future.
