My work is mainly inspired by the landscape. I like to work from my own drawings done in situ. I am mainly concerned with colour and line. I have no interest in recording a realistic landscape but prefer to respond spontaneously to my surroundings. I like to play with colour combinations and i am becoming increasingly interested in using a limited palette. I enjoy simplifying what i can see and playing with shapes and line.
