Caspar’s latest work combines his experience of traditional materials and his understanding of space and form with a contemporary spirit.  While his work is pure and precise in form it is often inspired by such ‘happy accidents’ as a piece of clay squeezed between the fingers or a discarded timber or metal shaving.  His most recent pieces have been inspired by the mathematical yet unpredictable patterns created by coupled pendulums.

Caspar has a Fine Art degree from The University of the West of England.  He has three threads to his work:  Sculpture; restoration/new build in ornamental plaster, stone and wood; and portrait sculpture.

Caspar has trained in both contemporary art and more traditional sculpture, Caspar has worked throughout the world on a variety of modern commissions as well as on numerous statuary and restoration projects and has won many prestigious awards for his work.
