A study trip to China in 1978 with the Craftsmen Potters Association had a radical effect on her work and way of life. She has pursued Chinese studies and returns regularly to China and Central Asia often accompanying fellow artists. The partition between house and garden has become less defined as we have opened our doors to eastern influences, so that the selection of work to be positioned within an interior can also be found outside. My work fits into both these categories. The style and texture of the work thus creating a continuity between both spaces. For the exterior works, I work with three different clays; buff, terracotta and dark brown; and in partnership with the client or designer discuss what is most suited to their needs. Work available throughout the year Works to Commission. Prices range from £300 - £5,000.
