Clare is a graduate in textile design and has a post graduate certificate in education. As a freelance designer she produced designs which sold in Europe and America. In 2006 she decided to work full time as a professional artist and teacher, creating "About Art". Her artwork is very diverse and many subjects are explored, using a variety of media, strong colours and textures. Her paintings have an ethereal quality and are often symbolic. More recently she has produced a range of hand made bespoke jewellery, using semi precious stones and beads in fun combinations.

Clare's jewellery is currently on display at Seabreeze Gallery Burnham on sea.
