Juliet Harkness

I saw the Quantocks in my twenties and decided to ‘retire’ here- that’s exactly what I did.  After a career as a puppeteer and designer for our Travelling Puppet Theatre, we came to the Quantocks and I began painting in earnest. My work is inspired by walking in the hills and Coombes every day. It’s my passion and solace. In the better weather I like to work outdoors.I also paint some portraits to commission. I work in oils and acrylic on board.
