My aim is to create hand woven textiles that are equally attractive to the hand as to the eye. This involves the interaction of texture,colour and pattern and I enjoy manipulating the structure of the cloth to create an almost 3D effect.
I have recently worked with local fibre producers and have explored the use of mohair, dorset down, alpaca and cashmere with some inspiring results.
