Personalised Gifts for Special Occasions

I create decorative, bespoke illustrations that make charming and unique gifts to mark special birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, christenings, retirements, family occasions, etc.

 With my experience in design, and taking my inspiration from illuminated manuscripts, calligraphy, the natural world and my love of the written word, I use paint and mixed media to capture and represent the characteristics, interests, hobbies, and history of the person(s) or event concerned, usually incorporating name(s) or initials and relevant date. These details and any other information are provided through discussion and consultation with the commissioning client.

 The resulting illustration may a simple decorated initial or a more complex detailed piece, depending on the client’s requirements. This will be reflected in the agreed price of any individual piece.

With my background in graphic design, I am receptive and sensitive to the needs of the client, and enjoy the creative challenge of producing an exciting, charming and often humorous solution for each new project.
