Marilyn Ewens

Bridgetown Cricket

The main inspiration for Marilyn's paintings is the light and colour of the Somerset countryside. Oil paintings, large charcoal and wash drawings and her favoured medium of watercolour and pastel explore the landscapes of West Somerset, the Quantock hills and Somerset Levels. Village cricket is another favoured subject and as well as original paintings, affordable prints are available by request. Her work is represented at the Lynda Cotton Gallery, Watchet; The Bookshop Gallery, Taunton and The Bellflower Gallery, Colyton. Original paintings can also be seen at the Carew Arms, Crowcombe. Her Artweek show will be at the Church House, Crowcombe from the 11th to the 26th of September 2004. Meanwhile please visit the website at www.marilynewens.com.
