A carpenter/joiner since leaving school, I have always enjoyed being creative. Having discovered an eye for composition through photography, I was recently persuaded into trying drawing and painting. I instantly fell in love with the process. Starting out with charcoal and pastel life drawing, I moved in to using acrylics for abstract work. Whilst starting out with an initial idea, I am inspired by the unknown that lies ahead as the paint is laid down. Wood sculpting is now also becoming a part of my work.Since discovering this new world of creativity I feel a new zest for life and hope to develop my art further.
