SAW Projects – Invitation to Artists – Expressions of Interest
Somerset Art Works is looking ahead to our community engagement programme this year, planning both face to face and online artist workshops with a wide range of participants in a variety of settings.
We are looking to engage artists experienced in co-creation and socially engaged practice, across a wide range of art forms.

- •Social enterprise – making products to sell.
-
- •Working in a day centre for the homeless community, artists/facilitators required.

- •Textiles banners project.
-
- •Arts, nature and growing project inspired by pollinators – based in a park in Taunton, weekly workshops over the summer.

- •Young people’s film/ digital media project in Taunton – an opportunity for young people to have a say about their lives.

- •A wellbeing project for people with mental health difficulties, creative workshops across a number of Somerset locations.

- •Setting up and running a new online workshop forum as part of our wellbeing programme, 12 x once a month sessions.
- •Workshops in schools, colleges and PRUs.
Your CV
1 page (max) letter outlining:

- •Your practice, artform/s.

- •Approach and experience working with communities/groups/schools – any areas of special interest.

- •Experience of co-creation and project development.

- •Experience delivering online workshops if appropriate (not necessary for all projects)

- •Links to your website/ projects/ images/ online workshops etc.
