I blame my dad! A keen photographer himself he inspired my interest in photography - yes it's nearly all his fault (and very grateful I am too).

Taking photographs, and striving to take better ones, helps me to pay more attention to what's in front of my nose - I love it.

I joined SAW in  2008 to paticipate in Art Weeks - one wonderful thing led onto another; exhibitions and commissions followed. The most recent of these is my appointment as the official photographer for the rebuild of Weston Super Mare's Grand Pier. It's a challenge, no small responsibility, and a fantastic priviledge.  Over the coming year I'll be doing my best to capture the transformation of the pier from the twisted ruins of the fire in 2008 to a new glory that will doubtless hold pride of place at Weston for generations to come.
