Public Liability Insurance cover is essential when taking part in Art Weeks and is also strongly recommended to any visual artist who displays their work, runs workshops or works away from their home or studio. The cover normally protects the artist against the costs involved in any claims brought against them for their 'legal liability to the Public’, such as incidents where a visitor may injure themselves on a piece of work or slip on spilt paint on the floor. SAW offers Public Liability Insurance to all members on either an annual basis or just for the period of Art Weeks.
