2010 In this exhibition of embroidered landscapes, I think I have encapsulated the essence of the beautiful Somerset countryside and beyond. I prepare the background fabric with washes of paint and then, thinking and working like a painter, I create colour, texture and depth using a sewing machine to draw with thread.
Techniques will be demonstrated. Originals and cards will be for sale and commissions can be undertaken.
