Laura Pearcey is a successful ceramic sculptor whose work is evocative of childhood memories and uses prosaic objects and subtle colours to tell stories.  Her sculptural works are assemblages of slip-cast objects along with impressed and printed decoration.  Laura has also recently set up Boopdesign.com, her decorative range of functional ceramics.  Boopdesign.com exploits the translucent qualities of porcelain, making impressed, printed, highly decorative tealights and vases.
