Lucy's work is a product of two cultures, the Cape and England.  Her inspiration comes from Africa, its light, its landscape and its people.  She works in oils, mainly working outside.  Photography helps her capture everyday scenes of children playing, street scenes, animals, glaciers and climate change when working in the print studio or on her recent glass work.
