Primarily a pastelist I work on a variety of surfaces, often employing other mediums to contrast the pastel marks.

My images are based on abstract design; finished work ranges from non-representational expression, to highly resolved, descriptive pieces.

Content is usually related to, or inspired by the Somerset Levels and the county's coastline.

I conduct demonstrations and run workshops from my studio and for West Country art groups.
