For this project, artist Kate Lynch took children from South Petherton Junior School on a sketching expedition to Glebe Farm in Pitney, a mixed organic farm with its own farm shop. This exhibition is the result: vigorous charcoal drawings by the pupils and a busy picture of the farm created by everyone together.
The project links with Kate’s 'Sheep – from Lamb to Loom' exhibition at the Black Swan Arts (Venue 54)
Kate Lynch has become known for her drawings and paintings of rural working life, and also for her work as a community artist, co-ordinating large collaborative paintings which are on public display throughout Somerset.
